About Us

Shamsuddin Bulbul foundation is the continuity of a dream for educated, skilled and self-sustainable society with high moral, character and behavioral values. Working for the cause and struggling from a century long time, the family of late Rias Shamsuddin Bulbul, is engaged with the cause of delivering quality education, rights awareness, skills development for alternate livelihood, and vocational trainings free of cost for marginalized, and poor citizens of Pakistan prioritizing females as most deprived segment of society. To feel the urge of working on large spectrum Shamsuddin Bulbul Foundation (SBF) was registered under Societies Registration act of 1860 in December 2012. Shamsuddin Bulbul Foundation has been registered as a non-government, nonpolitical, non-discriminatory and not for profit organization working for the betterment and sustainability of poor and marginalized citizens. Currently organization is working mainly on own funding of Executive committee members and with the support of local philanthropists. The head office is established in Jamshoro town, District Jamshoro. Due to limited financial resources the services are being provided to a limited numbers of beneficiaries. The services are being provided in sewing and stitching classes, embroidery and handy crafts making, beautician course, cooking classes, basic literacy for adults and formal education from 1st to 5th grade, basic computer course including MSOFFICE, Sindhi and English composing and Internet surfing, and the religious education free of cast especially for poor females, girls and boys working as domestic home based labor and street hookers. During Ramzan and two occasions of Eids, special Eid and Ramzan packages are also provided to needy and poor families which includes the ration for whole month (for a family size 6 persons, quality and quantity as per SPHERE minimum standards) , stitched & un stitched clothes, bangles, sandals, and ornamental jewelry and other Eid gifts and cash grant as “Eidee”. Similarly for students from grade 1 to 5, school bags, uniforms, school shoes and books are also provided free of cost with the support of local philanthropists in limited quantity. Refreshment is also served among trainees and students.
